The Wastelands is a deeply personal and cinematic album that explores themes of transformation, resilience, and self-discovery. Written and produced by Jeran, this project was born out of a desire to process life’s emotional landscapes and turn them into something tangible, honest, and artful.

 

Drawing inspiration from the duality of beauty and decay, the album blends atmospheric production, raw vocals, and vivid storytelling to create a soundscape that feels both intimate and expansive. Every track is a chapter, reflecting moments of solitude, renewal, and the search for meaning amid chaos.

To bring the visual side of the project to life, I collaborated with designer Jose Vazquez, whose creative direction elevated the album artwork and aligned with the project’s sonic themes. I also partnered with engineer Cago, who ensured each track met professional audio standards, resulting in a polished and immersive listening experience.

 

A cross-functional collaboration with talented producers, including EuroStarz, Dom Perignon, Ian M. Davis (Glen Wood), Kontrabandz, and Ric and Thadeus, who further shaped the Album. Their contributions added depth and cohesion to the overall sound and aesthetic of the project.

From writing and arrangement to visual direction and rollout, The Wastelands was a fully independent effort, crafted with intention and heart. It stands as a testament to what’s possible when vulnerability and creativity collide.

Baggage Claim EP is a 7-track album that reflects my musical talent, creative vision, and ability to lead a project from concept to execution. As the project owner, I strategically leveraged Meta Ads Manager to run two successful digital marketing campaigns on Instagram and Facebook, aimed at expanding audience reach and boosting streaming performance.

 

The Album has an average daily increase of 2,017 streams on Apple Music, demonstrating the impact of well-executed, data-driven marketing strategies.

 

To bring the visual side of the project to life, I collaborated with designer Melanie, whose creative direction elevated the album artwork and aligned with the project’s sonic themes. I also partnered with engineer Cago, who ensured each track met professional audio standards, resulting in a polished and immersive listening experience.

 

A cross-functional collaboration with talented producers, including PDUB, PlatinumSellersBeats, EuroStarz, DopeBoi, Hido, and NaterHoads, further shaped the EP. Their contributions added depth and cohesion to the overall sound and aesthetic of the project.

 

Baggage Claim EP is a milestone in my artistic journey. It highlights my skills as a singer-songwriter and my strengths in project management, creative collaboration, and digital marketing.
